Fawad Khan has bowled everyone over with his style statements while out and about B-town and a couple of quirky local trends from the past have found their way into 2016’s busy social calendar. The Filmfare cover, featuring Fawad Khan and Alia Bhatt, was the talk of the town this week and while Fawad looked dapper in his suit, it was Alia who smashed it out of the park with her look. Alia possesses the perfect cool girl je ne sais quoi in a Barbie pink voluminous Elan creation with frills and all and, at the same time, looks fiercely powerful complementing it with a pair of sporty chic, Adidas sneakers.

Stylist and blogger Samiya Ansari (@swearuponcoco) carries this runway look from Shehla Chatoor’s FPW’15 showcase effortlessly at model Sana Ansari’s wedding in Karachi. Sporting the ornate blush pink sari-pyjama, Samiya strikes a perfect balance between glam and tradition and sets a trend that experimentalist fashion-lovers would definitely approve of.

Deepika caught paparazzi by surprise as she stepped out of a restaurant in LA after having dinner  with ace tennis player Novak Djokovic. But it was her simple yet effective sense of style that caught our attention. The actress paired an Alexander McQueen dress with a Saint Laurent cape and strappy heels and, though she can make anything look good, we love the strong, fierce and individualistic vibes of this look perfected with a pop of red lipstick.
