She’s the most recognizable face of Pakistani cinema at the moment and is known for her on-point fashion statements on the red carpet. Which is why her choice of the beige and black lace gown by Scandinavian label Epilogue for the Masala Awards left us a little underwhelmed. From the bland colour palette to the uninspiring cut, the dress did nothing for the otherwise beautiful actress, making her fail to stand out in a crowd consisting of popular faces from both Pakistan and Bollywood.

We spotted the super-talented Zoe Viccaji at the event sporting a brand-new look for her recently released single, ‘Jaanay Do’, and we have to confess we couldn’t stop staring! The new hairdo, featuring the blunt bangs, adds an element of Cleoptara-style charm to Zoe’s face and the end result is a strong and individual look that is sure to draw attention. A tailored blazer paired with skinny jeans and minimal accessories was all that was needed to make a splash.

Also representing the Pakistani contingent at the Masala Awards was Frieha Altaf, who looked dazzling in a draped white dress by Dubai-based label Cest Moi Couture. From the gold detailing on the gown to Frieha’s glam locks and dramatic eye make-up, this was a perfect red-carpet statement - bold yet elegant.
