Celebrities and fashionistas brought their A-game not only to the PLBW red carpet but also to the myriad lunches, parties and launches scheduled around the hubbub of activity that marks the three days of fashion week. We round up some of our favourite looks from the events…

Where: PLBW Day 3

Designer Sara Shahid of Sublime proved yet again that less can be so much more by pulling off a stunning monochrome look at the grand finale of PLBW. Her perfectly tailored white Sublime outfit is crisp and pure in its finish and the wide leather belt adds a modern twist to the classic look. The red shoes and oversized earrings bring a hint of drama to the otherwise understated ensemble.

Where: L’Oreal Paris Lunch

The model shows us how to do ripped jeans right in this all-black ensemble that she sported to the launch of the L’Oreal Paris Extraordinary Oil. The tailored blazer and the chunky necklace add a formal touch to the otherwise laidback outfit and the only hint of colour is Rabia’s scarlet pout. We normally wouldn’t advise going so dark during daytime but the model carries it off like a rock star.

Where: PLBW Day 2

HSY might be the busiest guy during fashion week (he’s the show director and choreographer as well as the finale designer), but you wouldn’t know it if you were to spot him at the red carpet in all his dapper glory. For Day Two, the designer went the nawabi route in a classic white sherwani, which he updated to trendy by pairing it with jeans and a printed pocket square.

If someone knows how to have fun with fashion, it’s Kami. The talented
designer channels
summer cool in this quirky shorts-and-tie combo and makes it look debonair. We love the splash of colour that the shoes add to the ensemble.
