Lahooti Live Sessions

If you’re looking for soulful, indigenous, folk magic and sounds of the Indus, look no further than Lahooti Live Sessions. A brainchild of Sketches’ Saif Samejo, it is the one place where you can discover miraculous folk music. So far, two beautiful seasons have taken place and both of them will have you riveted.

Recorded in Jamshoro, Sindh, the show aims to preserve the sounds and instruments of Sindhi folk and beyond. In just a few years, Lahooti Live Sessions has grown into the premier music show for those looking for sounds of the soil.

Walnut Sessions

Music producer: Hassan Omer

Executive Producer: Adnan Butt

Content Head: Anam Sajid

Hassan Omer is no stranger to creating funky, memorable music (read: SYMT).

With Walnut Sessions, Hassan has managed to create a platform where emerging artists can come and showcase their talent. The show features its own house-band featuring the likes of Kami Paul, Rufus Shahzad, Amir Ajmal and Farhan Ali as well as featuring artists like Rakae Jamil, Hamza Butt and Waqas Ali.

This summer season head to Walnut Sessions because they have close to 18 original songs coming out. Of those, five will be English while the rest will be Urdu and will cut across genres.

The ongoing Walnut Sessions, circa 2015, will feature Faizan Arshad, Maria Unera, Omar Mukhtar, Aaniat Hasan, Sana Zulfiqar, Tahir Naeem Hussain Ali Shah and the amazing Shehzad Noor, so, watch out.

Former Poor Rich Boy member, Shehzad Noor writes and sings heartbreaking, unforgettable songs. A show like Walnut Sessions will help promote Shehzad and others like him who, despite enormous talent, cannot make it to our entertainment/music channels.
