What is it about: A three-day film festival, being held in collaboration with Travelling Film South Asia, Urta Lahore will celebrate South Asian cinema, starting with “films that weave resilience, nostalgia and untold histories.” Other than feature films, there will be screening of Pakistani shorts; interaction with the makers; food stalls and more.

Where: British Council Library, Lahore.

What is it about: Said to be a “first-of-its-kind Sustainable Fashion and Textile Symposium,” hosted by the British Council in Lahore, the event includes panel discussions with speakers from across Pakistan, the UK and South Asia; hands-on workshops to experience centuries-old craft techniques; and dynamic knowledge-sharing sessions exploring innovation, craft, education, systems design and more.
