*Film & Theatre Special FX Makeup Workshop

When: Begins September 13. 12-3 pm.

Where: Adabi Baithak, Alhamra, The Mall, Lahore.

What is it about: A two-day, hands-on workshop designed and conducted by Karachi-based SFX makeup artist Razan Yasin (of Horrifx), the programme covers “techniques, tools, and products that bring imagination to life.” It’s suitable for beginners.

Yasin also specialises in prosthetics and getup.

*Pakistan Art & Craft Shopping Festival

When: Concludes Sunday. From 11 am to 11 pm.

Where: Emporium Mall, Lahore.

What is it about: The festival is a showcase of “Pakistan’s finest handmade art, crafts, fashion, home décor, accessories and much more.”

*Film Screening

When: September 13. At 4 pm.

Where: British Council Library, 65 Mozang, Lahore.

What is it about: A screening of two BAFTA 2024 nominated short films — Crab Day and Gorka. The screening will be followed by a moderated conversation on the films with the facilitator, Amar Ali.

The event is for people aged 18 and above.
