Wimbledon is as much a fashion event as it is a sporting one. And this year, the stars in the stands brought their A-game despite the sweltering heat.

T

he Grand Slams of tennis are five-set, best-of matches and occur four times a year. Perhaps the most elegant and arguably one of the most watched is the Wimbledon tournament in London on immaculate grass courts. My favourite time in the modern era was when Roger Federer was still playing and hadn’t retired. Watching Federer can only be described as poetry in motion.

Fast forward to 2025, and once again, celebrities turned up in numbers to show their support for the championship.

Wimbledon has always been more than just tennis. It’s also about celebrating style. Each year is somewhat of a royal affair, with royal family members and A-listers arriving in their crisp summer looks to add a little more polish and glitter to the courts.

That being said, this year was one of the hottest summers, with high temperatures recorded in the region. Although this might not unsettle us Pakistanis, who are accustomed to extreme heat, it definitely stretched the comfort limit for the British crowd. Still, fans remained steadfast, packing out the stands over the two weeks to hail their favourites with total fervour. Here’s a quick look at some of the best-dressed celebrities at Wimbledon this year.

Tom Holland wore a JW Anderson shirt and jeans, Dr. Martens shoes, Jacques Marie Mage sunglasses, and a platinum Rolex Cosmograph Daytona.

The king of tennis, Swiss legend Roger Federer attended Wimbledon 2025 in a navy suit and white shirt, accessorised with the newly released Rolex Land-Dweller 40 in Oystersteel and white gold. The now-retired Federer sat in the Royal Box for his former rival Novak Djokovic’s match against Alex de Minaur in the fourth round.

Nicole Kidman opted for crisp menswear: a double-breasted white blazer, Panama hat by Brunello Cucinelli, and a structured shirt, as she watched the men’s finals of The championships between the top two players in the game: Carlos Alcaraz (number two) against Jannik Sinner (number one).

Sir David Beckham wore a cream Hugo Boss double breasted suit with a powder blue shirt, brown tie, aviators and a hand bandage following minor surgery. The former England captain later confirmed this was due to a surgical screw that needed to be removed from his hand.

Leonardo DiCaprio was spotted in the Royal Box, watching the epic men’s semifinal between Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner. He wore a grey suit and
T-shirt with the Rolex Land-Dweller ref. 127334.

Cate Blanchett, the Oscar-winning actress, sporting a blue-and-white Prince of Wales check silk suit by Giorgio Armani, watched Barbora Krejcikova of Czechia and Alexandra Eala of the Philippines compete in the first round from the Royal Box.

Robin Wright kept it chic and simple in a white Ralph Lauren dress with a matching coat casually slung over her shoulder.

Andrew Garfield embraced summer chic in a white linen shirt, high-waisted trousers, Ralph Lauren shoes, and a jumper draped across his shoulders. His whole look was by Ralph Lauren, very fitting, considering 2025 marks Ralph Lauren’s 20th year as the official outfitter of Wimbledon.
