It’s traffic as usual on Burki Hudiara Road, near the Pakistan-India border, a day after the Pak Army shot down several drones launched into the city from the Indian side. On Thursday morning, explosions were heard from across Walton Road, in the vicinity of Bedian. Panic gripped the man in the street, and forced those close to border to move elsewhere. While reverberations of the day are still fresh, nerves have calmed — slowly but surely — and life seems to have returned to normal.
