akistan made a dazzling entrance onto the global luxury scene with its first-ever Gems and Jewellery Show in Lahore, earlier this month. Organized by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) and the Ministry of Commerce, the event marked a major milestone in exhibiting the gemstone mining and jewellery expertise. Prominent local jewellers partnered with some of Pakistan’s top designers to reveal stunning, handcrafted collections. Educational institutions also participated — most notably, the Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design with Lulusar to highlight fresh talent.

With delegations and buyers from Europe, Asia, and Africa in attendance, the event showcased Pakistan not as a supplier of raw material alone but as an evolved player within the global luxury market.

The production was expertly managed by Take II PR and Events, with Rizwan Beyg directing the runway segment. With styling by Ehtesham Ansari, hair and makeup by Nabila’s, backstage coordination led by Murad Raheem Khan, and PR by Connect Marketing, the show established a new standard for Pakistan’s fashion and jewellery sectors.

x Waseem Jewellers

A real blend of grandeur and tradition, this pairing combined the legendary couture of House of HSY with Waseem Jewellers, a legacy brand established in 1952. Renowned for its timeless gold and diamond craftsmanship, Waseem Jewellers’ intricate karigari found a bold new canvas in HSY’s powerful silhouettes, delivering a spectacle of classic luxury reinterpreted.

Nilofer Shahid x Gold by
Reama Malik

Couture icon Nilofer Shahid infused her trademark storytelling and ageless tailoring into the runway, in tandem with Gold by Reama Malik, known for reviving Meena Kari and Jarao crafts. Their collaborative collection was majestic and reverent—a masterclass in heritage-rich beauty, encapsulating South Asia’s rich artisanal history.

Angeline’s Art Line x 82

Sustainable fashion brand 82 by stylist Ehtesham Ansari collaborated with Angeline’s Art Line, a jewellery house founded by the multi-talented Angeline Malik. Their Pink Salt collection celebrated femininity via sculptural copper pieces complemented by ethically produced textiles—a poetic fusion of strength, delicacy, and social narrative.

PIFD (Pakistan Institute of
Fashion and Design) x Lulusar

The Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design featured up-and-coming talent from its Jewellery and Gemmological Sciences Department, teaming up with Lulusar to deliver innovative design based on heritage.

This daring showcase of new-gen craftsmanship emphasised bold shapes and culturally relevant motifs, affirming the future of Pakistani fashion.

Minimalist designer Zonia Anwaar collaborated with Heritage Jewellers, elevating silver to new heights of luxury. Their presentation combine d quiet luxury with evocative craftsmanship, featuring high-quality gemstones in silver—a tribute to understated elegance and enduring beauty.

Blockestry x Divine Jewels

Known for fearless fashion, Blockestry merged with Divine Jewels for a heavenly-meets-earthy collection. Blockestry’s alluring silhouettes were adorned with Divine’s spiritually inspired pieces, creating a show that was both provocative and richly emotional—a glowing tribute to identity.

Kuki Concepts x Sonica
Jewellers

Zahid Khan’s avant-garde label Kuki Concepts brought drama to the ramp with gothic hues and retro cuts, set against the emotionally charged heirloom pieces from Sonica Jewellers. The collection blended couture drama with legacy jewellery, creating a narrative immersed in memory, identity, and bridal tradition.

Munib Nawaz x Almas Jewellers

In “Rebel Raani,” fashion designer Munib Nawaz infused bold femininity through jewel-toned tailoring, complemented by dazzling finesse of Almas Jewellers.

Together, they created a testament to royal strength and individual sovereignty, with Almas’ delicate stones and Munib’s structured silhouettes narrating a tale of unapologetic grace.
