he usually expansive space of the Palais d’Iéna was transformed into a tight runway, which allowed the garments to stand out. “The collection was about femininity and the idea of expressing femininity in this difficult moment to lift us up,” Mrs Prada said backstage after the show. She intended for the clothing to “help in difficult moments, during really dangerous times, wartime,” she added.

The collection included light silk dresses, oversized fur stoles, and top-handle handbags. The colour scheme of warm yellow, forest green, and burnt orange, interspersed with tyrian purple and mint green, also evoked a vintage ambience.

“There is a sense of tension and anxiety today, and of fear,” Mrs Prada explained. “This season, we wanted to create an elegance with nothing—through the everyday, through direct manipulations of simple pieces.

These are combined with bold gestures of the feminine—jewels, furs—that elevate, give importance, value and complexity to every look.”

The Miu Miu collection serves as a reflection on women’s essence, articulated through clothing that encourages conversation and contemplation. The construction creates a silhouette that exists independently of the wearer’s figure, enveloping and complementing the body regardless of its shape.
