Just what purpose do these carts, conveniently parked on the footpath along a busy road in the city, serve the Metropolitan Corporation Lahore? While the carts no longer encroach upon the road, they have blocked the pedestrians’ path. One fails to understand as to what kind of thought went into the city government’s anti-encroachment drive.
