ohair Sultan is just a 14-year old but he has comparatively ambitious goals in rowing. Having started his rowing journey in March 2022 last year Zohair has been seen showing a lot of resolve to become a top rower in the rowing community. His father, Emran Sultan, who is a golfer, tried to bring him to golf, trained him but Zohair had thought otherwise. He wanted to adopt a certain sport which demands more strength as compared to golf and so he came to rowing.

Zohair, who is a student of Karachi Grammar School, also this summer featured in the International Rowing Regatta held in Danube River in Vienna and impressed everyone with his remarkable skills by coming Second in double scull and Third in singles scull. In the event Karachi Boat Club had fielded a 37-member contingent which also contained students from CAS School and Karachi Grammar School. As many as 500 rowers from 47 clubs from different countries flexed their muscles in various age-group events.

“Zohair has set his eyes on achieving top honours in future. It’s just the start for him and hopefully he will achieve distinction in the field,” Emran Sultan hoped.
