The dynamic producer became the first Pakistani artist to be featured on the stadium LED boards during FCB’s (FC Barcelona) thrilling match against Sevilla at the Estadio Olimpic Lluis Companys.

alal Qureshi has got the big mo’. His new album, TURBO, was launched in spectacular style and he also made history in the process.

According to a press release, earlier this month, Talal Qureshi became the first Pakistani artist “to be featured on the stadium LED boards during FCB’s (FC Barcelona) thrilling match against Sevilla at the Estadio Olimpic Lluis Companys”.

It further stated, “The feature was part of the spectacular global promotions that are being organized by Spotify, both on and off the platform to support the launch of Talal Qureshi’s latest album TURBO.”

It is a special record because it is a commitment to local talent by the eclectic producer and features artists such as Zaw Ali, Zahoor, Blal Baloch, Yashraj, and Natasha Noorani.

For Talal, watching this historic moment in his long career was a special experience. He noted, “I’m blessed to have this support. This platform has been instrumental in helping me share TURBO with the world and I couldn’t have imagined a better way to launch my album. Thank you, Spotify!!!” before adding, “I had tears rolling down my face when I found out that I’m the first Pakistani artist with my name / album being displayed at Estadio Olimpico Lluis Companys, Barcelona, I’m grateful.”

Days after this massive push by Spotify, Talal Qureshi stood tall on a digital billboard at Times Square, New York as the commitment to push TURBO by Spotify, the streaming giant, continued.

Said a press statement, “Talal Qureshi, the renowned music producer and singer, steps into the spotlight for an entire week with Spotify starting October 6th.

“Following his captivating appearance on LED screens at Estadio Olimpico Lluis Companys, Talal’s extended feature in the heart of New York City is a testament to Spotify’s commitment to promoting local music talents globally.”

The record TURBO also shows Qureshi’s ability and interest in mixing traditional with the modern.

“Known for his skillful fusion of classical Pakistani music and modern electronic elements, Talal has achieved the remarkable feat of being the first Pakistani artist to receive on-ground support from Spotify for the launch of his album. This support has enabled him to introduce his voice to a worldwide audience.”
