It leads to something like ‘Ghazab Kiya’ an enigmatic and arresting new song by Ali Sethi, which has been produced by wonder kid Abdullah Siddiqui. Originally performed by the late Mehdi Hassan, Ali showed just how versatile he can be as a vocalist.

Ali Sethi, who is pushing the envelope through his songs and music videos has not faltered. ‘Ghazab Kiya’, is ultimately the result of music written by Ali Sethi (adapted from Daagh Dehlvi’s ‘Ghazab Kiya’). The music video for the song is an almost mythical, monochromatic, majestic piece of art (that complements the song) and has been directed by Fahad Hussayn.

The song, part-anthemic, part-electronic, experimental and embedded with emotion, is not the only major development in Sethi’s career after ‘Pasoori’, the song that broke records and won hearts around the world. While his new song and music video is as distinct and astonishing as each of Sethi’s releases in recent years, he is also busy with a significant North American tour with performances lined up in Chicago, Detroit, Vancouver, BC, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and many other places before ending at Coachella in April.
