Cape Monze Records releases Momentum with 100 percent proceeds aimed towards flood-hit Pakistan

lood-hit Pakistan is still reeling from the loss of hundreds of lives and devastation that has rendered more than 30 million people including children homeless, battling for basic needs, and fighting illnesses as a consequence. This catastrophe has caught global attention.

In Pakistan, too, efforts are being made to counter the devastation by raising funds meant to help our people.

To that end, Cape Monze Records is doing its part in helping out. Their latest release is called Momentum - Pakistan Flood Relief Compilation – and features a whopping 19 tracks by a variety of artists from all over the world.

It includes artists you might recognize such as Kukido, Dynoman, Rudoh, TMPST (due to the significant role they have played in the local electronic indie circuit) as well as artists who may sound slightly unfamiliar but fit in the compilation like it was meant to be, like a glove that fits your hand perfectly. You will find songs that belong to a wide array of electronic music spectrum, which is one of the reasons. Indulging in this record while helping out your own people is a win-win.

Noted Cape Monze Records in a press statement, “100% of the proceeds from this compilation will go towards multiple organizations working on the ground providing medical care, shelter and the ongoing rebuilding process in flood hit areas of Pakistan.”

Release earlier this month, Momentum - Pakistan Flood Relief Compilation, is available on bandcamp exclusively.

The brilliant Karachi based indie and electronic label who last released Nadir Shahzad Khan’s arresting solo single ‘Bojh’ featuring Natasha Noorani, also offer a tremendous line-up of good music that’s worthy of your time on their page. So, do check those tracks out as well but with the aim to donate in the name of humanity, compassion and altruism.
