Trending this week
Movie magic, music, fun and fashion…it all rolled into one exciting disco ball of style this week. We flew up to Lahore for the launch of Sapphire’s Concept store #wow! We obsessed over Meesha Shafi’s Coke Studio get-up #superhot and of course, as Zindagi Kitni Haseen Hai promotions began, we started stalking Sajal Aly on her wardrobe choices. Here’s our pick…
Sajal Aly
The young and pretty Sajal Aly chose to wear Generation on her trip to the JS Deaf School, where she and Feroze Khan spent the morning learning sign language to communicate with them. While Sajal’s style was traditional, classic and understated, we couldn’t help but notice how easily she blend in with the kids; she’s so young herself.
Nilofer Shahid
This is one designer who impresses us with her ageless and graceful sense of style.
Though the pioneer is affiliated with Ittehad Textiles these days, we would love to see her step into ready to wear and lend her sophisticated sense of style to the millions of middle-aged women who are generally clueless.
Meesha Shafi
Meesha Shafi is perhaps the only vocalist in Pakistan (notice, we mean male AND female) whose sense of style is as strong as her voice. She completely won us over with those studded Kurt Geiger boots, a Wardha Saleem jumpsuit (from her private collection) and that facial glitter which gave a completely new dimension to makeup. Meesha sure knows how to rock it! #welove!
Rabia Butt and Hasnain Lehri
People who have met Rabia will vouch for her beauty and her dusky, dewy complexion. We love how she has been channeling her inner masculinity these days, this time at the launch of the Sapphire Concept Store, for which she chose Sapphire menswear.
Hasnain Lehri, of course, is the most fashionable Baloch around and only he could set off a conventional kurta pajama with white, metal studded sneakers!
