Dubai stuns with the most expensive ice cream

Care for some ice cream? No worries, it’s only $816 per scoop! Yes leave it to the city of limitless luxuries, Dubai, to come up with the most expensive yet bizarre offerings.

The city is already home to the world’s tallest building Burj Khalifa, the world’s most expensive RV Elemment Palazzo as well as the most expensive cupcake. And now it’s time that these million dollar expenses get ice cold treatment, quite literally as Dubai’s Scoopi café is now serving a scoop of ice cream worth AED 2,999 ($816).

So what exactly is so exotic about the ice cream? For starters it is made with exotic Madagascar vanilla ice cream, the world’s most expensive Iranian saffron and slices of black Italian truffle. Not enough for $816?

Well then perhaps the fact that it also includes sprinkles of 23 carat edible gold will make a lot more worth it. Finally the ice cream that has been named ‘Black Diamond’ comes in a pricey Versace bowl along with a Versace spoon which the customer gets to keep.
