Woman abducted

OKARA: A woman was abducted from Basti Qaimpura on Saturday.
Four accused including Nadeem and Muhammad Riaz entered the house of Khalid and allegedly abducted his wife Rashida Bibi. They also took away Rs 50,000 and gold ornaments. Police have registered a case.
7 ARRESTED FOR SELLING FAKE PESTICIDES: The DDO Agriculture along with police raided and arrested seven shopkeepers for allegedly selling fake pesticides.
The team raided and arrested Afzaal, Qurban Ali, Kashif, Gulzar and Sajjad from Chorasta Mian Khan while Sajjad and Muhammad Ahmad were arrested from Basirpur on the same charges. The police have registered separate cases.
