Two dacoits killed in encounter

KASUR: Two alleged dacoits were killed in a police encounter near Kot Radha Kishan level crossing on Thursday.
According to police, four dacoits snatched a motorcycle and Rs 8,000 from Rafaqat on Changa Manga Road. On information, a police party rushed to the spot and started cashing the dacoits. Seeing police, the dacoits opened fire on them. Police also retaliated. As a result, two dacoits were killed on the spot while the others escaped.
The killed dacoits were later identified as Sajid alias Lala and Zubair alias Akram.
According to DPO Ali Nasir Rizvi, the dacoits were wanted by police in more than 25 cases of dacoity and robbery.
