Commissioner directed to issue appointment letters

BAHAWALPUR: Justice Muhammad Amir Bhatti of the Lahore High Court Bahawalpur Bench on Thursday directed the Bahawalpur commissioner to issue appointment letters to 17 health nutrition supervisors of Bahawalnagar district.
In a petition, Hafiz Muhammad Akbar said that the health nutrition supervisors were selected on merit by the Bahawalnagar DCO/Recruitment Committee chairman about two years ago but they had still not been issued appointment letters. To it, the court directed the commissioner, who conducted a thorough inquiry in this regard. The commissioner in his report told the court that all the candidates were selected on merit.
