Woman burnt to death by husband, in-laws over dowry

SIALKOT: A 30-year-old woman was allegedly killed by her husband and in-laws over a dowry dispute at Kala Ghumman village in Muradpur police limits.
Muhammad Zahid had contracted marriage with Faiza Bibi in 2015. On Monday night, Zahid with the help of his father Muhammad Siddique and sister-in-law Rukhsana Bibi allegedly sprinkled petrol on his wife Faiza and then set her ablaze. As a result, she died on the spot. Police have registered a case and started investigation. Meanwhile, the social circles have condemned the incident and demanded immediate arrest of the accused.
