‘Shrines a source of revolution’
From Our Correspondent
MULTAN: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf National Organiser Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that the shrines are a source of revolution.
Addressing the concluding ceremony of a three-day 702nd Urs of Hazrat Shah Rukn-e-Alam (RA) here on Tuesday, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the shrines were a source of inspiration for the people. The shrines were playing an important role in elimination of extremism and terrorism, he added. If the terrorism was not prevented, it would destroy global peace, he warned. Qureshi appreciated the dialogues between Pakistan and Afghanistan for peace. However, he warned that Daesh was developing roots in the Muslim world. DCO Zahid Salim Gondal, District & Sessions Judge Qaisar Nazir Butt and Auqaf Administrator Shahid Hamid Virk also visited the shrine and prayed for the prosperity and progress of the country.
