Two attempt suicide

DASKA: Two people, including a woman, attempted suicide in the city area on Monday.
Adeel exchanged harsh words with his family members and consumed poisonous pills and was shifted to civil hospital when his condition started to deteriorate.
In the second incident, a woman of Daska took acid after having a quarrel with her mother over a petty issue. She was taken to civil hospital.
VALUABLES TAKEN AWAY: A house was looted on Monday.
In the area of Bombanwala police, three dacoits barged into the house of Anwar Ali and took away cash and gold ornaments.
DRUG PEDDLERS HELD: The Bombanwala police Monday claimed arresting four drug peddlers and recovering narcotics and illegal weapons from them.
The police during checking arrested Aslam, Khawar Khan, Ameen and Afzal and recovered 130 gram charas, 49 litter liquor and illegal weapons.
POWER OUTAGE SCHEDULE: According to a press release, electricity would remain suspended from 9am to 3pm in sub-division No 1 areas including the College Road, the Pasrur Road, the Sambrial Road and their related areas on Tuesday (today) for necessary repairs.
