Youth commits suicide after killing married woman

HAFIZABAD: A youth committed suicide after killing a married woman at Raja Tirgda village on Saturday.

According to police, Iram Bibi of Rasoolpur Tarar had contracted marriage with Basharat Ali of Raja Tirgda about three years ago. Later, Azmatullah allegedly developed relations with Iram Bibi. He had repeatedly asked Iram to get divorce from her husband Basharat but she refused. On the day of the incident, Iram was on her way when Azmat allegedly shot her dead. Later, the accused committed suicide by shooting himself. Vanike Tarar police have started investigation.

MAN ROBBED: Two dacoits looted Rs 84,000 from a man near Geegay village. Fakhar was going to Kassesay from Mateke when the dacoits intercepted him and snatched the amount from him. Police are investigating.
