Accused attempts suicide in lockup

DASKA: A dacoity accused attempted suicide in the Sadr police lockup.
Police had arrested accused Mudassar in a dacoity case and detained him in the lockup. On Saturday, the accused tried to commit suicide in the lockup. Police have registered a suicide attempt case against him.
TWO INJURED ON RESISTANCE: Two dacoits injured two friends on resistance in Bombanwala police limits.
Muhammad Ahsan and Muhammad Asif were on way home from Wazirabad when the dacoits intercepted them near Mitranwale village and tried to snatch cash from them but they resistance. It infuriated the dacoits and they shot at and injured them. Police have started investigation.
THREE BIKES STOLEN: Thieves took away three motorcycles in different incidents here. In the first incident, thieves took away the motorcycle of Hamza from outside a tuition centre. In the second incident, thieves took away the motorcycle of Akmal from outside his house in the Sadr police limits. In the third incident, thieves stole the motorcycle of Qasim at Mindranwala.
THREE INJURED: Three friends were injured in a road accident in Sadr police limits.
Hamza, Ashfaq and Abid were coming to Daska when a speeding car hit them near Golathian. As a result, they were injured. They were shifted to the Civil Hospital.
