Four gangsters held

OKARA: Police Friday claimed arresting four out of 12 members of the Nasir dacoit gang.
In a press conference, SP (Investigations) Saud Magsi said police arrested gang’s ringleader Nasir of Harappa and his three accomplices identified as Shabir Hussain Billa of 13/L village, Aftab alias Achhi of Dhup Sarri village and Ilam Din of Basti Rao Sahib, Renala Khurd. The dacoits were active in the area of PS Renala Khurd district Okara, city Pattoki district Kasur, Harrappa district Sahiwal, Mian Channu district Khanewal. The gang normally used to loot people on the highways. Police recovered a Kalashnikov, 90 bullets, a 30-bore automatic mini rifle, two laptops and a car (LE-159).
The remaining gangsters are being traced, the SP added.
KILLED: A rickshaw driver was killed here on Saturday.
Muhammad Qasim of Gamber bus stop was heading to Malgada Chowk in his rickshaw when it turned turtle, leaving him dead on the spot.
