Three of a family gunned down in Swabi

SWABI: Unidentified gunmen killed three members of a family early Wednesday, the police said. The incident occurred in Pirtab village, an area of Maneri Bala union council, which falls in the jurisdiction of City Police Station.
A police official said the attackers broke into the house at 3am and opened fire, killing the three family members on the spot. Those killed included Razia Begum, her 20-year old daughter Khaista Begum and 19-year old son Arbaz Khan.
The husband of the deceased woman, Naseeb Dad, works overseas. Lodging a first information report (FIR), Muhammad Israr, another son of the deceased woman, did not nominate anyone in the case. The police registered the case and started an investigation.
