Siraj asks nation to stand up against corrupt mafia
LAHORE:Jamaat-e-Islami ameer Siraj-ul-Haq urged the people to carry out the message of Eid and involve the poor, needy, orphans, widows and helpless around them in their joys.
Addressing an Eid congregation at Mansoora, Siraj said Eidul Azha teaches self-sacrifice, compassion and care. He lamented that the country is suffering from a severe economic crisis since the so-called democratically elected rulers denuded the people of their freedom and enslaved the nation to the United States and IMF. The rulers have thrown the nation into the fire of inflation, poverty, unrest and chaos.
Siraj-ul-Haq said that there is no difference between the PDM and PTI governments, they are two sides of the same coin and active members of American slave club. The US and the IMF's slaves imposed the cruel capitalist system on the country and squeezed the blood of poor masses to feed their wealthy capitalist masters in the west.
He said that the Federal Shariah Court has given a historic verdict against the prohibition of usury, but our rulers want to continue the war against Allah and His Messenger (PBUH) through usury-based economy.
He said today there is darkness of despair and hopelessness in all parts of the country. Around 220 million people are upset and the life of the common man has become unbearable. Millions of young degree holders are forced to starve or commit crimes as they were disappointed with their future.
Parents look away from their educated children and children look away from their parents, he said, adding that the situation has reached the point where highly educated unemployed youth are in every household.
He said that the father is the prime minister and the son is the chief minister, yet there are unrest in the Centre and Punjab. He said the country has been under direct military dictatorship for 35 years and for the rest of the time puppet parties like PPP, PMLN and PTI remained in power.
KPK has been ruled by the PTI for the last ten years but the situation has worsened against all claims of change.
He appealed the nation to stand up to get the country out of the mire of corruption, adding that self-respecting people will not spare even the greatest sacrifice for the security and safety of the country. He said if people want to get rid of thieves, looters and corrupt mafia, then they must support candidates of JI since only JI can give honest and sincere leadership to the
nation.
