NAB raid Irrigation Division office in Nawabshah

NAWABSHAH: The Sukkur NAB team conducted a raid at the office of Irrigation Division in the Society Area where they inspected the record of the Rs6.5 billion Rohri Canal lining project.
The NAB team, comprising Directors Kashif Shaikh and Mir Junaid Talpur, inspected the record of the project for three hours. The office staff were not permitted to leave the office premises until the inspection of the record had been completed.
The police accompanying the NAB team attempted to snatch cameras from the media men covering the NAB raid. When contacted, the Executive Engineer of Dad Division, Ashfaque Memon, said that a NAB team had also visited this office last year, and they were here this time to check the bills and the quality of work.
