PRC officials visit Rawalpindi branch
Rawalpindi: Dr. Rizwan Naseer, Secretary General Pakistan Red Crescent (PRC), Islamabad, and Secretary Pakistan Red Crescent (PRC) Punjab Justice (r) Mahboob Qadir Shah visited Red Crescent Branch Rawalpindi and assured their full support for completing and enhancing the services of Rawalpindi branch for the ailing community.
Dr.Saleem Raza, Adviser to Chairman PRC, Lahore, was accompanied. Dr. Tahir Sharif, Honorary Secretary PRC, Rawalpindi, briefed about the branch activities and Red Crescent Hospital Complex.
Both Dr. Rizwan Naseer and Mahboob stressed upon community involvement and capacity building activities to tackle challenges. Being twin cities National HQ Islamabad will assist in all respects to District Red Crescent branch, Rawalpindi, it was assured by Dr. Rizwan Naseer.
They lauded the services of the branch and appreciated establishment of PRC Hospital complex by Rawalpindi branch at Satellite Town Rawalpindi where special attention is being given to infectious diseases like dengue and flue. Dr. Tahir Shairf informed about various initiatives being introduced to facilitate patients.
