Youth killed in accident

DASKA: A youth was killed and his friend was injured in a road accident on Saturday.
Muhammad Younis and Jameel were riding a motorcycle, when a speeding tractor trolley hit them near Mundaykay, leaving Younis dead on the spot and Jameel injured.
GIRL ABDUCTED: A girl was abducted on Saturday.
The daughter of Faisal was going to bazaar for shopping when Shahid Ali, Zahid Ali and their accomplices, including a woman abducted her.
HOUSE LOOTED: Robbers Saturday took away valuables from a house.
Five dacoits barged into the house of Iftikhar Ahmed and held up his family and took away Rs 200,000, gold ornaments and a cellphone from an area of city police.
ATTEMPTS SUICIDE: A married woman tried to commit suicide in the area of city police on Saturday.
The woman used to quarrel with her family members and on the day of the incident she took poisonous pills and was shifted to civil hospital in a critical condition.
DRUG PEDDLERS HELD: Police Saturday arrested five drug peddlers and recovered narcotics from their possession.
Police arrested Asghar, Nasir, Nawaz, Bashir, Tanveer and Sohail and recovered 4,150 gram charas and 16 litres liquor.
