Passing-out parade held at PTC Hangu
HANGU: Law Minister Imtiaz Shahid Qureshi said on Friday the provincial government had allocated Rs32 billion for providing facilities to the Police Department.
Speaking at the passing-out parade in Police Training College in Hangu, he said the cops had rendered matchless sacrifices in the war against terror. “The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf-led coalition government had depoliticised the police” he said.
Deputy Inspector General Police Training College Ashraf Noor, Deputy Commandant Irshad Khan, District Police Officer Shah Nazar Khan, Superintendent of Police Zulfiqar Tanoli and other senior cops were present on the occasion.
The minister praised the cops for their role in restoration of peace and foiling several terror bids. He announced construction of a mosque and 10 residential blocks and installation of 150 closed circuit television cameras on the premises of the college to improve security.
