3 held for selling substandard meat

OKARA: Three butchers were held on charges of selling sub-standard meat.
On a tip-off, Depalpur Veterinary Officer Sajjad Haider and Sadr police raided Salhuwal village and arrested Maqbool Ahmad and Allah Ditta who were selling toxic meat and recovered 100 kg meat from their possession.
The Hujra Shah Moqeem police raided Amirnagar village and detained Muhammad Masroof and recovered 25 kg rotten meat from his custody.
FAKE MILK FACTORY: Police unearthed a fake milk factory and arrested 10 people.
On a tip-off, Tehsil Sanitary Inspector Ghulam Fareed and Haveli police raided Jawaya Baloch village and arrested Sajid Fareed and others who were manufacturing fake milk.
The police also recovered 1,100 litre fake milk from their possession.
LIQUOR RECOVERED: Police arrested several people and recovered a large quantity of liquor from their possession.
On a tip-off, Satghara police raided village 9/GD and arrested Sadi Ahmad with 15 litres wine and Mangat Ali with 20 litres.
The Haveli police raided Moghal village and arrested Muhammad Ismail with 20 litres wine, Shah Muhammad of Wassavewala with 25 litres wine, Allah Ditta of Mohallah Rasoolpur, and Muhammad Akram of village 1/SP with 20 litres wine. The Mandi Ahmadabad police raided and arrested Sharafat Ali of village Hayatwala with 15 litres wine. The Satghara police raided village 10/1R and arrested Zahid Iqbal with 430 charas.
