KASUR: A traffic rules awareness walk was on Saturday.
The walk led by DCO Suleman Ghani started from Adda Laliani Chowk up to Chandni Chowk, Bulleh Shah Road. Talking to reporters, the DCO said well-mannered people abide by traffic rules. About educational institutions’ security, the DCO said a meeting with the heads of schools and colleges was held where he asked them to make foolproof security measures. He said they were asked to install CCTV cameras, walk through gates, build eight feet high boundary wall, impart training to security guards and keep record of visitors. The DCO said a strict action would be taken against administration of institutions in case of ignoring regulations. Press club president M Saleemur Rahman and others participated in the walk.
