Protest against gas loadshedding

BAHAWALPUR: Residents of various areas on Friday staged a demonstration against gas loadshedding in their localities.
The protesters, including women and children, holding gas stoves, gathered at Jalwana Chowk, Tareen Road, and chanted slogans against the government and the SNGPL authorities for observing gas loadshedding. They also chanted slogans against State Minister for Education, Training and Interior Mian Baleeghur Rehman for failing to protect rights of the locals. They demanded the government and the state minister take notice of the issue.
Two killed, four injured in clash between two groups

BAHAWALPUR: Two people were killed and four others injured during a shootout between two groups at Chak 148/NP in Sadiqabad police limits on Thursday night.
According to police, the bodies of Ahmad Din and Sarfraz and the injured people were shifted to the Sadiqabad THQ Hospital. Police are investigating.
