PML-N govt restored country’s image: Pervaiz Rashid
KOTLI: Information and Broadcasting Minister Senator Pervaiz Rashid says that the present government has restored the image of Pakistan as a key player in the region.
Addressing a PML-N workers convention in Kotli, Azad Kashmir on Monday he said that Pakistan had attracted huge investment from China and was facilitating Afghan peace talks. He said that Pakistan was also playing an important role to remove differences between Saudi Arabia and Iran and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had embarked on a visit to both the countries for the purpose.
About the politics of Azad Kashmir the minister said that PML-N remained at distance from no confidence motion against incumbent Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Chaudhry Abdul Majeed to allow him to complete the five-year term.
He however regretted that instead of focusing on service to the people of Azad Kashmir the AJK prime minister spent most of his time in Islamabad.Pervaiz Rashid said that people of Azad Kashmir had expressed no confidence in the PPP government and PML-N would hopefully emerge victorious in the coming elections. On the occasion Prime Minister’s Adviser Asif Kirmani says that the issue of Kashmir will be resolved under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. He urged the people of Kotli to vote for PML-N to enable it to work for them.
