Election on special seats of Chakwal DC
Nomination papers to be filed on Jan 20, 21

CHAKWAL: The nomination papers for the special seats of the District Council Chakwal, six municipal committees and 71 union councils, will be filed here on Jan 20 and 21.
According to the schedule, scrutiny of the nomination papers would be completed till Jan 27. The appeals against rejection and acceptation of nomination papers would be heard by the Appellate Court. The election for the special seats of the District Council would be held on Feb 8. As many as 71 chairmen of all the union councils of the Chakwal district would cast their votes to elect representatives on 15 women seats, three peasants and labour seats and four seats of minorities. The election for the special seats of six municipal committees would be held on Feb 11 while the election for the special seats in 71 union councils would be held on Feb 14.
