‘Bar-bench relationship vital for speedy justice’

GUJRANWALA: Newly-elected DBA general secretary Syed Imran Haider Naqvi has said that good working relationship of bar and bench is vital for providing speedy justice to the masses.
He was talking to a delegation of traders at his office here on Friday. Imran Haider said that the problems being faced by lawyers and citizens would be resolved through mutual efforts of lawyers, traders and social leaders. The DBA office-bearer said that lawyers struggle would continue to set up the High Court Bench in Gujranwala. He stressed the need for making all-out sincere efforts to provide better working atmosphere in courts to dispense speedy justice.
FINE IMPOSED: The DOC district consumer protection council Ahad Dogar has imposed fine on seven shops, hotels and bakeries while hearing the references against them.
The references against the shopkeepers were made on the complaints of citizens and had forwarded to the DOC by Legal Consumer Protection Council Assistant Director Asim Ali Awan.
