Farhan, Ibrahim enter tennis tourney final

KARACHI: Farhan Mustafa and Ibrahim Iltafat cruised into the final of men’s singles event in 14th Westbury Open Ranking tennis championship here at DHA Creek Club on Thursday.
Farhan Mustafa found little resitance from Zain Nawab and overpowered him by 6-3, 6-0. Ibrahim faced tough resistance from Marib Malik in the first set but he eventually prevailed and recorded a straight-set 7-5, 6-2 victory.
In U17 semi-finals, Talha Sohail defeated Bilal Imran by 6-3,3-0, while Hassan Farooq recovered from a set down to beat Noman Aftab by 4-6,7-5, 6-3.
Zubair Raja clinched U15 singles title by thrashing Rayan Jawad by 6-2, 6-0 in the summit clash.
