ECP to hold LG polls in Sanghar, Badin on January 23

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan |(ECP) has decided to hold Local Government(LG) elections in Sanghar and Badin districts on January 23 after improvement in law and order.According to a spokesman, the ECP received a letter from the provincial government of Sindh informing a visible improvement in the law and order in those districts.It is pertinent to mention here that on December 23, the ECP had postponed the LG elections in district Sanghar and some union councils of Badin which were scheduled to be held on December 30 due to deteriorating law and order.
