Registration of 61 inactive NGOs cancelled in Gujranwala

GUJRANWALA: Registration of 61 inactive NGOs has been cancelled while 87 others have been issued show-cause notices, said Social Welfare District Officer Rana Mehboob. Talking to The News here on Monday, he said that total 363 NGOs had been registered in Gujranwala and they were being monitored by the department. He said that those NGOs that were inactive and had no record of accounts or audit would be dealt according to the rules.
