Waqar new Gujranwala DBA president

GUJRANWALA: Waqar Hussain Butt has been elected as the president of the District Bar Association here.
According to unofficial results, Waqar Hussain Butt got 898 votes while his opponent Nasrullah Gul bagged 849 votes. Likewise, Syed Imran Haider won the general secretary seat by securing 677 votes while Kamran Olakh got 594 votes and Zahid Nazir 467 votes. Waseem Iqbal was elected as the SVP by getting 854 votes while his opponent Zia Rasool got 828 votes. Similarly, Zeeshan Elahi was elected as the VP by getting 935 votes while his opponent Rauf Chohan secured 737 votes while Amir Nazir won the joint secretary seat by getting 989 votes.
Madam Komal won the library secretary seat while Rana Muhammad Tasneem was already elected unopposed as the finance secretary.
