Woman, two sons killed in accident
Locals protest ‘callous’ attitude of patrolling police
From Our Correspondent
KASUR: A woman and her two sons were killed in a road accident on Friday.
Babar Ali, 20, along with his mother Farzana Bibi, his brothers Asif, 12 and Asad Billu, 8, were coming from Rinala Khurd to Pattoki on a motorcycle.
When they reached near Ghalan Phatik, a speeding truck coming from the opposite side hit them, killing Farzana, Asif and Asad Billu on the spot and wounding Babar critically, who was rushed to Jinnah hospital.
Reportedly, the patrolling police ignored the dead bodies that were lying on the road.
Over such ‘callous’ attitude of the patrolling police, the locals protested against them and blocked traffic. Later Pattoki police reached the spot and restored the traffic.
