ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Thursday rejected a plea seeking removal of Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Amer Ali Ahmed and imposed a Rs50,000 fine on the plaintiff for wasting the court time. Justice Miangul Hussan Aurangzeb conducted the hearing. The court also ordered for cutting the fine imposed by the court from the salary of the plaintiff. The court said the CDA chairman issued show-cause notice over misconduct to the officer, who in turn challenged the appointment of the chairman.
