Govt urged to stop gas, power load-shedding in Peshawar suburbs

PESHAWAR: Elders of Palosai, PK-74 constituency, on Thursday asked the government to take practical steps to overcome the problem of gas and electricity load-shedding, which has made lives miserable for people.
Addressing a news conference at Peshawar Press club, the elders including former MPA Atifur Rehman and former district member Maulana Tariq Hussain warned the government to launch a protest movement if the authorities failed to solve their problems.
They recalled that their people had always cooperated with the government but it had never taken their problems seriously.
