ISLAMABAD: Chairman China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Authority Lt. Gen. (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa on Thursday said the potential of agriculture, livestock and fisheries in areas close to Khunjerab Pass and Gilgit-Baltistan would be explored under the ambit of CPEC.
The chairman stated on his social media handle work was in progress to address the challenges, especially on agriculture prospects with farmers of the area close to Khunjerab Pass and Gilgit-Baltistan. He said agriculture, livestock and fisheries have potential but existing challenges needed to be addressed first for working on it, also sharing his pictures with local farmers during his visit to the area to highlight the issue.
