9 POs among 103 held in Mardan raids

MARDAN: District police have arrested nine proclaimed offenders, their seven accomplices and 86 other suspects in operations on Friday.

On the directives of DPO Dr Zahidullah Khan, the cops conducted raids in the City, Hoti, Sheikh Maltoon, Chura, Kharaki, Jabar, Shahbaz Gharhi and Saroshah areas. Besides the arrest of nine wanted men and their seven accomplices, the cops also recovered 18 pistols, one Kalashnikov, one Kalakov, three shotguns, 333 bullets, over 1kg charas, 34 grams ice and 102 grams heroin.Also, 86 suspects were arrested at naka bandis for further investigations.
