KP Falcons storm into U23 football quarters

ISLAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Falcons defeated Sindh Qalanders 2-0 to make it to the quarter-finals of the National Under-23 Football Championship underway at Kunj Football Ground in Abbottabad.
In the 29th minute of the first half, Haris Faiz scored the first goal for KP Falcons with Asadullah doubling it in the 45th minute.
Punjab Warriors and Balochistan Bazigar played a goalless draw in another match of the day.
Balochistan Bazigar missed four corners and two were wasted by Punjab Warriors. Balochistan Bazigar also moved into the quarter-finals with this draw.
