113 nabbed in Mardan crackdown

MARDAN: District police arrested 113 persons including 13 proclaimed offenders and 8 abettors in various crimes during raids on Monday.
A spokesman for Mardan police said that on the directives of District Police Officer Dr Zahidullah Khan, the cops conducted raids in the city, Par Hoti, Toru, Sheikh Maltoon, Katlang, Chura, Rustam, Takhtbhai, Saroshah and Rustam areas.
During the actions, 13 proclaimed offenders and 7 abettors in various criminal cases were arrested and weapons including 26, pistols, 2 Kalashnikovs, 4 shotguns, 605 bullets, and 1237 grams charas were also recovered. Meanwhile, 92 suspects were apprehended during checking at nakabandis for further investigations.
