LHC CJ Qasim Khan retires

LAHORE: Lahore High Court Chief Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan on Monday reached superannuation after serving the judiciary for over 11 years.
He was elevated to LHC on Feb 19, 2010. A full court reference was held to pay homage to the outgoing chief justice. All the judges working at the principal seat of Lahore, advocate general of Punjab, federal and provincial law officers attended the reference.
Later at a send off ceremony, Chief Justice-designate Muhammad Ameer Bhatti presented a bouquet to Justice Khan. Justice Bhatti would take oath as chief justice on Tuesday (today) at a ceremony to be held in Governor’s House.
